ladies, ask yourself : “what do i need a boyfriend for?”

1. For money?

if men destined to make money so women destined to waste it. yes you got the point. But think again..do you want to spend the rest of your life dependent to a man? whose life not in your hand? what if death do you part? could you stand on your feet if you don’t have the capability of making money? ladies, we should stand on our feet. beside, if you have your own money, you still can keep yours for those pair of shoes/bag you want right? and also extra money always good to cover sudden things. You should also realize that paying food and entertainments on your dates are also your responsibility. it’s not fair to always rely your boyfriend on that position. if you always rely on your boys about money, it means you give him the power to control you with money.

2. For Protection?

they said men are stronger than women in physical strength. Yes i do agree but not completely. Have you ever imagine if god give man the honor to pregnant? 9 months carrying something that growing big. Or make it simple, if a man should feel the blast of PMS and the period’s cramps. He should be screaming and staying in bed all day. we have to realize that our boyfriends cant give us 24/7 protection, besides..we aren’t big babies..we have to learn to protect ourself. Mostly things you feared are only your imagination. You CAN go home alone, you CAN go to places alone, you CAN do that on your own, you CAN do this, you CAN do that. The only thing stopping you is your mind. So, be brave ladies..remember the old sayings: a brave man only being born by a brave woman. Do you want to have a coward son?

3. For companion?

A good companion is one of the best thing in the world. So what is a good companion like? i bet it’s someone you can share anything in almost any condition. consider yourself lucky if you have a boyfriend who shared most of your interests. But, no people in this world exactly the same. even twins are different on certain aspect. Wouldn’t it be great to surround yourself with many friends from different interests in your life? You’ll be surprised by the number of persons who give you greetings on your b’day. Have a boyfriend as a quality companion is good, but having many friends sounds as good as it. beside that, if you hang out with friends you can talk about your boyfriend (and also other boy too ;p)

4. For love/sex

yes it’s the sensitive part of our conversation. Oh well yea nothing could replace a good lover (along with the whole package of lovers things–you know what i mean–) having a lusty relationship is great as long as both of you can continuously developing on each other, physically and mentally. if one of you cant keep up, the other will feel the emptiness. and all the lovers things would seem so dull, so boring. have you ever say “I love you” because a habit not because you mean it? that’s the feeling I’m talking bout. how do you want to be loved? have you get it? if you cant love yourself, it’s impossible to loving other person better.

5. For sentimental reasons

having a rose on your room, or someone that ask you for a candle light dinner. Someone who told you that you are the most beautiful person in the world. Someone to fight and break up then to kiss and make up. someone to ..welll helloo…this isn’t fairy tale. you’re not princess and he’s not a prince riding a white horse. most of the time, sentimental reasons only work when you falling in love. the first chapter of love relationship is a poem, but the rest chapters are prose. wake up and smell the reality. it bites! so that you always keep your eyes wide open.Look around, you’ll see love has many faces and in this world many people could use your love to ease their pains. so stop being a little girl, wake up and share your love.

And now, who am i preaching like a priest of love? what do i know about love? i know only a little and i tend to screw up the rest so…it’s okay if you dont listen to my opinion. Basically i’m asking myself the same question. “what do i need a boyfriend for” and so far my answer is because i enjoy the status. See? just how shallow my opinion is. I’m hoping to find better answer for my own thought because in the end a good relationship is one you can cherish for the rest of your life. And just like you and the rest of us, love is a lesson we all want to pass with a high grade, don’t we? we are learning love here..

The Only Snow White Stem Kuki

they say people that gather in a same place usually have the same taste, or at least similar. Well, i agree with that. recently, my boss bought a new The Cure CD and of course she put all the songs on Itunes along with The cure greatest hits. and she post one of her favorite The Cure song titled “The only one ” on her blog. I only know The Cure from “friday i’m in love” and “Boys don’t Cry”. and because she told me to listen to their new album titled 4:13 dreams, i think it’s a good idea. Once i hear the album, i got stuck on two songs:“The real Snow White” and (yes she’s right) “The Only One”. and damn, i cant stop listening to this two songs.

no it’s not about a sad story i got stumbled on. it’s about a song. A song i’ve been searching since i’m on 6th grade on elementary school. And maybe if you want to know how did my searching ended, it’s ended because i finally know one of my office mate had this song for a long time on her computer. and im like, *gasp* overwhelming with happiness.

the song titled : TEARDROP by Massive Attack. This song is kinda creepy, makes the hair on my body stand up, especially when i see the video clip. the video shown a baby singing. yes a friggin’ BABY! inside a womb. complete with the umbilical cord still attached. Actually it’s the Video Clip which made like this song.

What to give for my Birthday

eh gile narsis amat ya si Eka,  mo ulang taun aja pake nulis mo hadiah apa. Ge-er banget bakal dikasi kado, orang inget ultahnya aja belom tentu, eh biarin ajaa.. katanya Ge-Er itu lebih baik daripada minder. Aku mempercayainya…ini keajaiban alam, aku mempercayainya..ini keajaiban alam! inget ga itu lagu apa? kalo inget bagus kalo gak ya gapapa ga usah kita bahas..

berhubung ultah Eka jatuh bertepatan tanggal 14 November ini, bersamaan saat hari Jumat maka jangan berharap Eka akan solat jumat karena eka itu perempuan. jadi gak perlulah dia solat jumat, kalo ada yang ngasih ucapan Selamat ulang tahun nah baru dia seneng. Dan cobalah lihat kalender, kalau dikau bisa matematika pastilah tau 14 dikurangi 9 bukan 6 melainkan 5. yak masi ada waktu 5 hari lagi tuk menabung atau ambil uang dari atm. tapi jika kau yakin uangmu cukup di bank, maka bolehlah kau gesek kartu debit ato bahkan kartu kredit.tapi jgn gesek ke pantat, udah eka coba dan itu sakit jadi jgn diikuti.

menyenangkan orang itu baik.kata Alloh ada pahalanya, jadi siapa mau pahala? nih eka kasih jalannya, inilah ini list kado ultah yang Insya Alloh menyebabkan kamu akan diberi pahala (karena  menyebabkan eka bahagia)

1. coat alias mantel hujan. bolehlah yang  terbuat dari kain tebal atau bahan lain yg nyaman. pilihlah model yg trendi, warna hitam dan coklat diutamakan.jgn warna silver ya it’s so last-last year, millenium sudah lewat teman2 masa kamu tak menyadarinya? .jangan yang terbuat dari bulu binatang, apalagi binatang langka, eka bisa dibaledog sama greenpeace nantinya..

2. tas laptop. tapi bukan tas laptop berwarna hitam merek bodypack yang diselempang soalnya eka udah punya. tas laptop yang akan kau berikan padaku sebaiknya cute dan lucu mengandung unsur warna ungu,  bulu2 disini diperbolehkan karena greenpeace pasti tau, itu cuma bulu-bulu palsu, cuma boongan biar tas laptop tambah lucu.

3. novel berjudul “Lolita” karya Vladimir Nabokov. yang entah kenapa membuat eka penasaran, mungkin karena bos di kantor adalah  pecinta lolita sejati atau karena eka kagum sama sosok syekh puji yang lagi terkenal itu, enggak bukan . ini mah murni krn penasaran.

4. sepatu crocs polos warna ungu. iya eka tau, kalo bibir kamu jadi mencibir dengernya, soalnya kamu juga mau, artinya kita sama ya, sama-sama pengen sepatu crocs. hehehehe..oh sepatu crocs..impianku sejak awal 2008 blm kesampean juga, yang kesampaian cuma croc nya doang. di-croc kalo masuk angin. ahahahhaha..

5. Eh kalo sepatu crocs ga terjangkau bolehlah sepatu converse aja. yang basic ya. item putih gitu, trus jangan yg tinggi, yang biasa aja, kalo tinggi ntr eka takut soalnya eka takut ketinggian.

6. CD nya Marilyn Manson yang Mechanical Animal. jangan yang confession no.1 soalnya itu judul albumnya Afgan, dan Eka udah punya juga. jangan juga yg Golden Age of Grotesque krn eka udah ada, dan albumnya MM lainnya eka cukup punya mp3nya aja.

7.Action figurnya Jack Skellington Nightmare Before Christmas. bolehlah kamu beli yang kepalanya bisa diganti dengan 20 ekspresi yang berbeda. boleh juga kamu beli yang jacknya diaplikasiin ke berbagai media selain action figur. kalo kamu keberatan, yah minimal setengah lusin donat Jack-o juga boleh yg penting ada unsur jack nya

8. Novel Abarat dan Abarat. oleh Clive Barker. Kok dua? iya soalnya dua seri. bukunya yang satu biru yang satu oranye.Udah eka baca dua-duanya nah lo knp masih pengen? iya soalnya kan buat koleksi. koleksi prangko mah udah ga ngetren jadi  ngoleksi novelnya Clive Barker aja. kalo kamu gak setuju, boleh juga kamu cariin dvd Mirrormask. soalnya eka blm nemu uy..

9. casing plastik buat macbook eka. Dari dulu nyari warna ungu tapi gak ada. apalagi eka cari warna ungu keabu-abuan pasti lebih sulit. nah kalo kamu merasa casing macbook terlalu muluk, bolehlah kasih casing ipod nano aja, boleh juga kamu orangnya ga mau tanggung-tanggung kamu kasi yang combo! matching antara casing macbook sama ipod. gilee…mantap bgt dah!

10. wah udah no.10 lagi? gak kerasa ya…(kerasa kali, kerasa pengen ngelempar apaa gitu ya ke eka?..ya gapapa lempar aja, tapi lemparin pisang aja ya, ntar eka mangap).yah pokoknya 9 wish list diatas itu cuma kisi-kisi kalo kamu kreatif pasti bisa kasi kado yg lebih oke, kombinasi lebih dari satu kado misalnya? hehehe..ah pokoknya mah ini bukan pemaksaan yang Eka inginkan dari setiap Ulang Tahun adalah semoga Alloh senantiasa menyertai Eka agar Eka bisa menjadi orang yang lebih baik dari tahun ke tahun. Dan semoga kalian semua tetap menjadi teman eka yang paling oke selama ini

Quantum of Solace

look who’s back!!! no it’s not JAMES BOND! it’s me! finally i write on my blog again, yey! you may wondering where the hell i was, well yeah you know i’m that type of person who easily being drawn by her super huge-mumbo-jumbo mood swing, but hei we arent talking bout me now, let save the stories about my mood later, we’ll talking bout the newest JB movie. and hell yeah, IT’S ROCK!

as you may know the new Bond, Mr. Daniel Craig has raised public opinions and divided them into two groups. “love-me-as-Bond” club and “hell-no-you’re-not-Bond” club. But he stays calm and show his real quality as bond, and i am the part of the first group.I like him as Bond, more than ever. moving to the story, on QOS (Quantum Of Solace), Bond took his mission personally by the caused of Vesper’s death. He traced down the organization which got the responsibility on Vesper Betrayal. You’ll see a bunch of old people from the last movie (yes QOS has something to do with CR (Casino Royale)) and also a bunch of new people. The story is moving fast, if you being attracted by something else even just for a few moments, you’ll be asking “oh no where is it?, “what did he say, before?” or “who is this people?” . so you have to be as fast as Bond, think quickly, swallow the story or you may get lost. hehe.. i got lost a few times when watching, luckily my Boyfriend didn’t. And btw this movie contains a lot of good fresh ironic humor. I didn’t hear a lot of people on theatre laughing but i’m so grateful i can understand most of the jokes. shame on you guys! ^^ Muahahahahahaha

i won’t go and babbling (or i just did?), for me this movie is so Hot! Daniel Craig really settled the new high bar for becoming the truly James Bond, and i also notice now that most of the Bond Girl is no longer a “breast and thigh with face” the people behind this movie have become more selective now and it’s good to see Bond shaking those “beautiful but brained bitches” than those “just bitches”. 

i got you my genuine experience after watching QOS (in Blitz PVJ) when i walked outside the theatre, two lovers behind me had an conversation:

Woman: “Darling, who is Vesper?”

Man     : “Owh! that one also confuse me! i don’t know who Vesper is!”

that almost made me laughing my popcorn back to my mouth. well it’s Okay, not everybody watching Casino Royale, i know..

 

anyway it’s good to see Bond Back, and i hope you feel good to se i’m back too.
